Computers are great but the right tools make them even more practical and fun.
(I've found that the right tools are not always the most expensive!)
- Online Bible - Freeware computer software including dozens of Bible versions, Books, Commentaries, Dictionaries.
- PrintKey 2000 version 5.10 - Freeware printscreen, screen capture utility. Many options. I use it to select and print only the part I want from a web page.
- OpenOffice.org - Freeware Microsoft Office compatible from Sun Microsystems. This is an Open Source project.
- Powermarks - Shareware bookmark program for all web browsers. Stores all your bookmarks in a flat file for easy search.
- Mozilla - Freeware Open Source web browser. It's realiable and has more features than IE. Blocks pop windows, includes WISIWIG (what you see is what you get) web page composer. PC World Best of 2003
- Pop This! - Freeware popup window blocker. If you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, this program is great.
- AVG Free Antivirus System - Freeware virus scanner. Fast loading, effective and easy to use. Also scans e-mails in Outlook Express.
- We-Blocker - Donationware
Internet filtering software. Works great. Continuously

- Diskeeper Lite - Freeware replacement for Windows Disk Defragmenter. This program will optimize your hard drive while you work in other programs!
- SmartFTP - Freeware FTP program. Powerful but easy to use.
- Web-O-Rama - Donationware HTML editor with everything you need.

- Scholar's Aid Lite - Freeware database program for research reference material. Automates citations, bibliography and reference lists.
- WordWeb - Freeware Dictionary with Thesaurus. I keep it in my taskbar for quick reference.
- XTerm Medical Dictionary - Freeware Medical Dictionary. Data is regularly updated via Internet.
- ePocrates - Freeware Palm OS and Windows handheld PDA program. Includes peer-reviewed drug and formulary information updated regularly via Internet.
